Free Movie at BAM

The Brooklyn Bridge is celebrating its 125th anniversary with "birthday" celebrations all weekend long, and on Saturday, BAM will hold a special free movie screening in honor of the occasion.
Directed by Ken Burns, Brooklyn Bridge is a documentary film about the ambitious construction of the now famous bridge.
Tickets are free but are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The screening will be this Saturday, May 24 at 4:30pm. BAM is located at 30 Lafayette Avenue.

Burger Battle of the Boroughs

New York City, brace yourself for a burger showdown. This Tuesday, May 20, two Brooklyn restaurants will head to Queens for the first ever Burger Battle of the Boroughs.
Both the Farm on Adderley and 67 Burger will be representing Brooklyn in the burger cook-off, and if you want to help decide which borough grills the best beef, then head to Queens on Tuesday to cast your vote. There's going to be an amazing spread of food and drink, and other restaurants dishing out burgers include Resto, Brgr, Coals, Harry's at Water Taxi Beach, and Joe's Bestburger.
Tickets are $55 in advance and $65 at the door. The event will take place from 6pm to 9pm in Astoria, Queens, at the Astoria World Manor (25-22 Astoria Boulevard). Call (718) 777-7918 for more information.

Summer Art Classes at the Brooklyn Museum
