Besides hosting the Celebrate Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival, one of the city's most popular events, the Prospect Park Bandshell features musical performances, outdoor movies, and dance and spoken word events.

The Bandshell has a three-story acoustic shell, a raised stage, 2,000 chairs, and a lawn that seats up to 5,000 guests.
